Jango Fett was a celebrated human Mandalorian bounty hunter, assassin, mercenary, and the “father” of Boba Fett, a genetic clone of his, whom he raised as a son. Fett was adopted by Mandalorian warriors following the murder of his parents and the disappearance of his older sister. Years later, he would go on to lead them through much of the Mandalorian Civil War. After being imprisoned by Jedi, Fett was responsible for destroying the Death Watch, a Mandalorian group who killed Fett’s mentor, Jaster Mereel.
Upon completion of that engagement, Jango became a bounty hunter, quickly establishing a reputation as being one of the best in the galaxy. Later on, Jango agreed to serve as the eugenic mold for the clones that would form the bulk of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. When Master Obi-Wan Kenobi located Jango and Boba, Fett fled to join Count Dooku. Eventually destroyed by Mace Windu in combat, Fett’s legacy would live on through his son Boba, as well as his cloned kinfolk, who would have a profound consequence on galactic history.
The original Star Wars trilogy was formed years later when Darth Vader was almost finished with the construction of the enormous Death Star space station, which will permit the Empire to eliminate the Rebel Alliance, which has assembled to battle Palpatine’s tyranny. Once inside the space station, Obi-Wan allows himself to be executed in a confrontation with Vader; his sacrifice allows the group to abscond with the plans that aids the rebels in the destruction of the Death Star.
Whenever in battle, Jango preferred to use his jetpack which harnessed on his back. This device provided speed and height over all his enemies. However, this backpack concealed a nasty surprise, deadly rockets. Jango explored the galaxies aboard the Slave I, a well-traveled starship with a reputation to boot.
